Self Help Groups (SHG’s)

Jeeva Jyothi has empowered around 350 SHGs in North Chennai and around Redhills area. The members were provided training on producing masala powder, soap powder, palm products, candles etc. for income generation. Ornamental fish farming was provided to about 50 women. The members were also provided awareness and training on Health and Hygiene, psychosocial support and PNC and ANC in the Multipurpose centre through VHN. They were linked with social security schemes. The families of these members were support with dry rations, masks and sanitizers during COVID-19 Pandemic.
