Art 6 of UNCRC equips every child with the inherent right to life and puts the onus on the government in ensuring the maximum survival and development
Day Care Centre for the Children of Migrant Workers and Working women from Unorganised Sector
We in Jeeva Jyothi extend our services in ensuring the children below 6 years to get basic early childhood care and development that ensures them the basic right to survival.
Jeeva Jyothi Balwadi Centers are located in Red Hills. Though children in the age group 0-6 yrs are in the Balwadi scheme, Jeeva Jyothi concentrates on children in 3-6 age groups to prepare them for formal school education through fun learning. Besides taking care of the children of working, mostly very poor parents, Balwadi provide better nutrition and joyful learning free of cost.
The balwadi caters to needs of the migrant bonded labourers where the mothers leave the children in the Balwadis. This enables the children to be safe from the work environment of the rice mills and to grow with interest in learning.
